Monte Miles Field Notes
Your watch thinks this is a recovery run. Your lungs filed an appeal.
Monte Miles motivation
Built for runners

Less scrolling. More running.

Monte Miles now starts with a cleaner front door and sends you straight into the part of the product you actually want. Use the planner, jump into Trackside, or open the race forecast without digging through one giant page.

Quotes rotate automatically and are written to be weird, funny, and shareable on purpose.
Plan Builder Generate your cycle
Set the race, running days, long run day, and build intensity without wading through everything else first.
Trackside Sync your real training
Pull Strava activity data into the planner so your mileage, volatility, and long-run history actually matter.
Forecast Lab Stress test the outcome
Run the Monte Carlo engine to see ranges, odds, and the cost of risk instead of trusting a single fantasy finish time.
Step 1 Open the Planner
Set your race date, goal time, and weekly structure.
Step 2 Connect Trackside
Authorize Strava and pull recent activities into the lab.
Step 3 Build the schedule
Generate the cycle and review load, long runs, and ramp risk.
Step 4 Run the forecast
Use the simulator to understand best case, median, and messy-day scenarios.
Trust

Clear about data, access, and support

Monte Miles is still in test mode, but the product should already feel trustworthy: account-based access, athlete-specific Strava linking, and a clear path when something feels off.

Privacy Your data stays tied to your account
Each athlete signs into their own Monte Miles account before Trackside connects, so training data is scoped to that user session.
Data Use Trackside only pulls what the planner needs
Recent activities help shape mileage history, volatility, long runs, and forecasting. You can disconnect Trackside whenever you want.
Support Testing is still human-scale
If something breaks, use the account reset flow, reconnect Trackside, or send the issue in with the exact screen and action that triggered it.
FAQ Do I need a Strava app?
No. Athletes just create a Monte Miles account and authorize Trackside. The Strava app setup is already handled behind the scenes.
FAQ Can I use it without Strava?
Yes. You can still build a plan and run forecasts manually, then layer Trackside in later if you want better historical context.
FAQ What if I forget my password?
Use the reset option from the planner login bar. During testing, Monte Miles can surface the reset link in-app if mail is not configured yet.
Monte Miles remains no-cost during testing. The focus right now is making the product easier to enter, easier to understand, and easier to use on a phone without sacrificing the training logic underneath it.
